Detectives investigating the mistakenkidnapping of an elderly man in Sydney, Australia have located what isbelieved to be human remains.
On Friday, February 13, just after 5am, police received a report that Chris Baghsarianhad been kidnappedfrom his home in North Ryde, a suburb of Sydney.
Early inquiries established that Mr Baghsarian was not the intended target of the kidnapping and had been taken in a case of mistaken identity.

The frail grandfather, who lived alone, was bundled from his home by a gang of masked attackers in a dead of night raid.
CCTV footage captured an SUV driving up outside Mr Baghsarian's home before two hooded figures approached the house. The figures reappeared with someone who is struggling in their arms before pushing the person into the SUV.
A burnt-out vehicle matching the description of the getaway car was found in the nearby suburb of South Turramurra shortly afterwards.
Police said Mr Baghsarian was wearing grey pyjamas and a red and blue flannelette shirt when he was kidnapped.
Following extensive inquiries, about 8am on Tuesday, February 24, detectives located what is believed to be human remains near a golf club in Pitt Town, about 60 kilometres north-west of Sydney.
