Rep. Ro Khanna (D-Calif.) publicly disclosed the identities of six men he described as “wealthy” and “powerful” who were allegedly hidden in the latest release of Jeffrey Epstein-related files, accusing the Department of Justice of improperly redacting their names. Khanna revealed the identities less than a day after he and Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) said they were forced to visit the DOJ themselves to review less-redacted materials tied to the Epstein Files Transparency Act.

The six men named areSalvatore Nuara,Zurab Mikeladze,Leonic Leonov,Nicola Caputo, Sultan Ahmed Bin Sulayem, and billionaire businessman Leslie Wexner. Khanna and Massie said the men are believed to be potential co-conspirators listed in Epstein records, though none have been charged or formally accused of wrongdoing. Lawmakers stressed that appearing in the files does not itself establish criminal liability.

Speaking on the House floor, Khanna questioned why it took lawmakers intervening directly for the names to be released. “If we found six men that they were hiding in two hours, imagine how many men they are covering up for in those 3 million files,” he said. Massie added that the Epstein Files Transparency Act does not allow for redacting the names of alleged co-conspirators and suggested the DOJ had applied blanket redactions, including to female names.

The disclosure comes after the DOJ released more than three million pages of documents, images, and videos related to Epstein investigations, claiming it had fulfilled its legal obligations. Debate continues in Congress over whether additional unredacted records must still be made public and whether powerful individuals were shielded during earlier stages of the investigation. DOJ officials have denied protecting any specific individuals, including former President Donald Trump, who has denied wrongdoing and has not been charged in connection with Epstein.
