July 19, 2026 Brooklyn, NY – At approximately 11:45 pm a woman was shot to the chest on the southbound 2 train platform at Nostrand Avenue and President Street, according to police.
The 18-year-old female victim was transported in a police vehicle to a nearby hospital in stable condition, according to police.
The victim’s purse was stolen and later tracked and recovered at another location, according to communications.
