July 19, 2026 HOUSTON, Texas - A large crowd gathered with signs and flags for an anti-ICE protest at Ervan Chew Park to demand an independent investigation into the killing of Lorenzo Salgada Araujo, an end to all Houston Police Department and ICE collaboration.
The group of several hundred also marched to a nearby bridge for a takeover as they shut down the 4500 block of Dunlavy Street in Houston Texas. Demonstrators also held banners and posters so passing highway traffic below could see.
