Powerball ballooned to $126 million after one ticket in North Carolina hit all but one number, narrowly missing the jackpot.
Thewinning numbers for the Monday drawingwere 6, 19, 22, 28, 48 and the Powerball number was 24.
Thewinner in North Carolinahit all the numbers in the multi-state game, but missed the Powerball, still netting them a cool $1 million.
The odds of hitting all five numbers and the Powerball is one in 292.2 million.
There has been eight drawings since a tickethit the Powerball. Another person in North Carolina hit the jackpot of $209 million with a cash value of $95.3 million on Jan. 21.

One lucky person in California matched four numbers and the Powerball for the Feb. 7 drawing. The ticket fell one number short of winning the $102 million jackpot then, but they still won $56,279.
