In Decmber federal judge and Obama appointee Judge Vernon S. Broderick of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New Yorkissued a temporary restraining orderpreventing federal officials from detaining or removing Centre for Countering Digital Hate (CCDH) CEO Imran Ahmed. The State Department sanctioned him for pressuring American companies to suppress U.S. speech.
The order bars action by Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Attorney General Pam Bondi, Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, and other senior administration officials.
The State Department replied to the ruling, “The Supreme Court and Congress have repeatedly made clear: The United States is under no obligation to allow foreign aliens to come to our country or reside here.”

Ahmed defends his censorship campaigns and silencing of critics. He takes it one step further and targets the advertisers on conservative publications.
