While patriotic Americans were celebrating a hard-fought victory for the Men’s Hockey team, the radical activists masquerading as journalists were busy telling their readers that feeling proud of your own country is a clinical disorder.
In a now-viral tweet that has ignited a firestorm of populist rage, HuffPost vomited out this “gem”:
“If waving the American flag or chanting “USA!” turns you off right now, you’re not alone.”
The tweet linked to a therapy-speak manifesto by Monica Torres titled, “There’s A Name For The Discomfort You’re Feeling Watching The Olympics Right Now.”
According to the HuffPost “experts,” if you feel a “tightening in your chest” while watching the Stars and Stripes rise, it’s not because you’re a hater, it’s because you have “cognitive dissonance.”
The article goes on a deranged rant, attempting to link Olympic gold medals to President Trump’s deportation of illegal aliens and federal law enforcement actions.
Torres writes that “federal agents detain 5-year-olds and kill unarmed civilians” while athletes win medals, creating a “national shame.”
They even found a few disgruntled athletes to bolster their anti-American narrative.
