Baltimore Police are seeking the public's help identifying six suspects who they say attempted to rob an elderly man outside a 7-Eleven last week. On July 7 around 3:46 a.m., a 74-year-old man was assaulted in the 2500 block of Liberty Heights Avenue, located in north Baltimore's Liberty Square neighborhood, authorities said. Police described the suspects as younger males. On Thursday, police released surveillance video of the assault and attempted robbery. One suspect can be seen displaying a gray assault-style rifle while another was holding a sword. The suspects can also be seen throwing items at the victim. Anyone with information is asked to call citywide robbery detectives at 410-366-6311.
