President Donald Trump headlined a defense summit at the U.S. Army War College on Wednesday, alongside Secretary of War Pete Hegseth and other military and diplomatic leaders, touting major defense investments. The President announced almost $10 billion in new investments in the U.S. defense industrial base in Pennsylvania, creating thousands of jobs. Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche touted multiple achievements by the Department of Justice under the second Trump Administration during his Senate confirmation hearing. “Murders are down roughly 20 percent nationwide. We have the lowest murder rate since 1900. Violent crime arrests are up nearly 114 percent,” Blanche said.
