The incident happened on Saturday at noon, when the accused allegedly tried to harass the woman before murdering her with a hammer and a knife.
The woman was alone at her home when the incident happened. Her husband, who is originally from Lalganj, Uttar Pradesh, was at work while their children were at school.

The woman, in a state of pain, ran around the room, asking for help. However, no one was available. A shop owner heard her, but did not intervene, assuming it was a domestic dispute, TOI reported. Later, the accused hit Seema on her head with a hammer, knocking her unconscious.

They rushed the woman to the hospital, where doctors declared her dead. The family of the woman alleged that even after receiving information, the police did not arrive immediately.
The police have now registered a case against the accused and have arrested them. The man will be interrogated for the crime. The police also recovered the weapons used in the crime.
