Mohammad Yousufmocked the Indian cricket team after their defeat toSouth Africain the T20 World Cup match at the Narendra Modi Stadium. India were bowled out for 111 in a chase of 188 and suffered a crushing 76-run defeat. After the loss, Yousuf took to 'X' and praised South Africa, while taking a cheeky dig at the Indian team. He also taggedMohammad Amir, who predicted that India would not make it to the semifinal of the T20 World Cup 2026. Amir favoured South Africa over India, and it came true.
"Oye @iamamirofficial, you menace! You tormented #India on the field, and now you're rattling them from the studio. Let them breathe, they're already under fire. South Africa, the finalists, have picked up right where they left off last #T20WorldCup. A formidable side! Top order stumbled, but the lower order delivered, and the bowling discipline was exceptional," he wrote on X.
“You need to note one thing, India has been exposed today when they were chasing for the first time in this World Cup. The team is forgetting how Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli who used to take the match according to the situation. One of the biggest mistake that India and other teams have been making is – sending all the left-handed batters together and the other teams deploy off-spinners in front of them. Once two-three batters get out then chasing 180 becomes a headache for the team.”
However, both West Indies and Zimbabwe are unbeaten in the tournament so far, and it won't be easy for both South Africa and India against them.
