Now, theDaily Mail's Andrew Neilsays sources in the White House have sounded the alarm over the President's mental state.

He said: "For some time now, my White House sources have been indicating that Trump is losing the plot. Not nearly as badly, of course, asJoe Bidenwhen he occupied the Oval Office. But nonetheless concerning. They complain that it’s increasingly difficult to get him to focus or concentrate on whatever matter is at hand."

Mr Neil added that Trump's "rambling" is "worse than ever", according to the sources.
