Nicki Minaj revealed she received a signed Bible from 79-year-old President Donald Trump. Sharing a photograph on X, she described the present as 'one of the most meaningful gifts I've ever received in my entire life.'

The cover bore the phrase 'God Bless The USA,' along with Trump's signature prominently displayed in the centre.
While the 43-year-old Trinidadian rapper embraced the gesture, many of her 21.6 million followers questioned the appropriateness and symbolism of the gift. Some suggest it felt unsettling given the controversial legacy of the giver.
Some fans framed the Bible as a contradiction, noting that the same hands that gifted scripture have, in their view, enacted harsh immigration policies and military interventions. Others described it as 'sacrilegious' for a public figure to sign a holy text, questioning why Trump would personalise a Bible in this way.
This specific edition of the Bible, available on the official God Bless The USA website, costs £820 ($1,000). While not a prohibitively expensive item for the global superstar, the value only added fuel to the fire. But then again, this is not the first time Minaj has received unusual presents from Trump.
In January, she posted a photo of a Trump Gold Card, a fast-track US residency visa for wealthy foreign nationals, priced at £820,000 ($1 million), plus a £12,300 ($15,000) non-refundable processing fee.
In her social media posts, Minaj suggested that these contributions were helping her formalise her US citizenship, thanking what she described as her 'wonderful, gracious, charming President' for supporting the process.
Fans did not hold back their opinions. One user admitted affection for the rapper but said, 'this feels wrong on so many levels.'
Another showed the deafening contrast between the symbolic religious gift and Trump's political actions, writing, 'A Bible from Trump. Signed. Framed. Called "meaningful." But the same hands that gift scripture have handed out bombs, bans, and borders.'
