Princess Noor Pahlavi, a member of Iran’s exiled royal family, has made a passionate appeal for global backing of Iranians demanding political change, saying that the movement to oust the Islamic Republic is closer to success than ever before.

In an interview and at public gatherings with Iranian diaspora communities, Noor, the eldest daughter of exiled Iranian Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi, described the nationwide uprisings inside Iran as a historic moment. She said the protests against the clerical establishment reflect profound anger and longing for freedom among the Iranian people.

Noor highlighted her role in amplifying the voices of those inside Iran who risk everything to call for change, urging international audiences to pay closer attention to their struggle and stand in solidarity. She emphasised that this moment represents a real chance to support the Iranian people’s aspirations for democracy and human rights after decades of authoritarian rule.

At rallies in cities such as Los Angeles, part of a broader global day of action by the Iranian diaspora, she stood shoulder to shoulder with demonstrators who have embraced the pre-1979 Iranian flag and called for systemic change.

Although not a formal political leader, Noor’s prominence as a vocal advocate for democratic reform and gender equality resonates with many in the diaspora and supporters of the protest movement. Her comments reflect an intensifying push by exiled figures to shape the narrative around Iran’s future as the crisis unfolds.
