July 09, 2026 MANHATTAN, New York - Just before 5:30pm, FDNY and NYPD responded to a person submerged in the water at Harlem Meer near E 110th Street & Central Park North in Harlem, NYC.
Firefighters conducted a water rescue operation with divers briefly entering the Meer in Central Park to pull the person. Paramedics seen doing CPR on individual who was then rushed to an area hospital.
