We've all heard the claims.
"The data proves it."
"The science is settled."
"The statistics don't lie."
But what if the comparison itself is the scam?
In this video, I break down a viral argument that claims violence "isn't about race, it's about men," and show how selective comparisons, cherry-picked data, and misleading statistics can create a completely different narrative than the evidence actually supports.
We'll examine why comparing the wrong groups can produce dramatic headlines while telling us very little about reality, and why learning to question how statistics are presented is just as important as the numbers themselves.
Whether you're interested in statistics, critical thinking, media narratives, or men's issues, this is a lesson in how numbers can be used to persuade rather than inform.
Watch to the end and let me know your thoughts in the comments.
