A man was arrested after deputies determined he was impaired and conducted field sobriety tests, claiming he “worked leg day yesterday.” The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office said deputies arrested 38-year-old Carlos Gonzalez early July 5, after stopping him for driving more than 65 mph in a 45 mph zone. Deputies said they determined Gonzalez was impaired. The sheriff’s office posted video on social media showing him performing a field sobriety test and saying he “worked leg day yesterday” and that “my thighs are not that strong.” The sheriff’s office said deputies made 19 DUI arrests over the July 4 holiday night.
