LG Electronics on Tuesday estimated its second-quarter operating profit at 1.57 trillion won ($1 billion), up 146.9 percent from a year earlier. The global electronics giant said revenue increased 14.9 percent to 23.82 trillion won. The data for net profit was not available. The company will release its final earnings report later.
