President Donald Trump has issued what may be the most explosive executive order of his second term: the full declassification of every single government file related to aliens, extraterrestrial life, UFOs, and unidentified aerial phenomena. Not some files. Not heavily redacted pages with everything blacked out.Everything.
And it all started because Barack Obama couldn't keep his mouth shut.
The former president appeared on a podcast this week and was asked point-blank: are aliens real? His response? "They're real." Period. No hedging. No deflection. Just confirmation—followed by an awkward pivot to Area 51 that nobody had even asked about.
As former Trump White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer brilliantly noted, anyone who has dealt with classified information for thirty years knows you don't answer that question in the affirmative. You obfuscate. You deflect. Obama did neither.
"He literally said the quiet part out loud," Spicer explained. "And then Trump said, 'I can't believe he said that. That's classified. Obama just said something he wasn't supposed to say.'"
Trump's response aboard Air Force One was vintage: Obama made a big mistake giving out classified information, so now Trump would have to declassify everything. And that's exactly what he did.
"Based on the tremendous interest shown, I will be directing the Secretary of War and other relevant departments and agencies to begin the process of identifying and releasing government files related to alien and extraterrestrial life, unidentified aerial phenomena, and any and all other information connected to these highly complex but extremely interesting and important matters," Trump announced.
Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth immediately confirmed the Pentagon would comply.
For seventy years, shadowy bureaucrats have used YOUR tax dollars to investigate phenomena they refused to share with you. Military pilots have been silenced. Witnesses have been discredited. Entire programs have operated in darkness while Congress itself was kept in the dark.
Now Trump is ripping away the veil.
