THE HOUSE OF HORROR. In Vinton County, Ohio, 16 children (ranging from 18 months to 18 years old) from the same family were held captive for approximately four years in a single 3.6 m x 3.6 m room, amidst their own excrement, garbage, and in extremely unsanitary conditions. Their parents and grandparents are facing 16 to 17 counts of child endangerment. Some of the children were unable to speak. Seven were hospitalized, two of whom were airlifted to hospital. The parents and grandparents could face up to 136 years in prison.
