Pakistan-based terror groupLashkar-e-Taibais planning a blast near Delhi's Red Fort, a temple in Chandni Chowk, and other major temples across the country, revealed intelligence inputs accessed by Times Now. According to the inputs, the LeT is plotting an IED attack. The possible blast is being planned to avenge the February 6 blast in a mosque in Pakistan's Islamabad.

The security agencies have issued an alert regarding a possible explosion threat near the Red Fort in Delhi. There are inputs suggesting that a temple in the Chandni Chowk area could be targeted by terrorists.

Intelligence sources indicate that Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) is allegedly plotting an IED attack.

According to inputs, the terror outfit is reportedly seeking to avenge the February 6 blast at a mosque in Islamabad, Pakistan, and may be planning a major terror strike in India.

Sources further suggest that prominent temples across the country could be on Lashkar-e-Taiba’s radar.

This comes in the backdrop of the recent deadly car explosion near the historic Red Fort in Delhi on 10 November 2025, which killed over a dozen of people and injured more than 20.

The blast, caused by a car loaded with explosives near Gate No. 1 of the Red Fort Metro Station, had triggered fires in multiple nearby vehicles.
