Orange County, Florida — On June 3, 2026, at about 1 p.m., deputies responded to the 8200 block of Tivoli Drive because a neighbor reported there was a woman, identified the woman as 59-year-old Rosalia Hodges, outside of a home, screaming. When deputies arrived, they knocked on the door of the residence, and Hodges came out holding a knife. Deputies retreated back toward the street and ordered her to drop the knife several times. She refused to drop the knife and shouted “I’ll kill you” as she continued to advance. Three deputies fired their service weapons, and Hodges was struck. Deputies rendered aid until paramedics arrived. Hodges was transported to the hospital, where she died.
