June 30, 2026 MANHATTAN, New York - Off duty female officer reportedly witnessed auto theft suspects attempting to steal a catalytic converter off a vehicle who then allegedly approached the officer.
The off duty 31-year-old MOS fired upon suspects after the officer reported seeing them go into their waistband. No injuries reported, suspects fled.
Incident reported before 7am near Broadway & W 147th St in the Hamilton Heights neighborhood in Manhattan, New York.
