The AI Impact Summit 2026 being hosted by New Delhi has been making headlines every day for different reasons, but one highlight that is intriguing and even motivating for many is that the youngest keynote speaker at the AI summit is an eight-year-old boy Ranvir Sachdeva, who is being hailed as a child prodigy. Ranvir is infact the youngest keynote speaker at this year's AI summit, where he will be speaking about his own case of an Indian AI model.
Ranvir said he will also addressing how his actions are contributing to India's GDP. "I'm here as the youngest keynote speaker at the India AI Impact Summit. I'm talking about how I'm linking ancient Indian philosophies to modern-day technologies. I'm also covering the different approaches which the rest of the nations are building AI,” he told new agency, ANI. "I'm talking about how India is building AI with. I'm sharing my own use case of an Indian AI model just released and how I'm contributing to India's GDP and driving AI literacy with it."
Ranvir Sachdeva at global stage
This is not the first time Ranvir is addressing the world at a global stage. He was invited as the youngest Keynote Speaker at the United Nations’ AI for Good Global Summit in Geneva, Switzerland in 2025 when he was merely seven (7) years old. Even at such a young age, Ranvir confidently addressed over 10,000 attendees from more than 180 countries, 53 UN partner organisations, and global AI leaders. He spoke for 20 minutes on “Agents of Change: A 7-Year-Old’s Lens on Generation AI for Good”.
At the age of 7, in Switzerland, Ranvir shared the stage with Geoffrey Hinton (77, Nobel Laureate, Turing Award Winner, Godfather of AI), CEO of Salesforce, CTO of Amazon, Chief AI Scientist of Meta, and several TIME 100 AI leaders and global changemakers. "Ranvir spoke passionately about how his generation — Generation AI are the true changemakers, and how AI is transforming human lives through healthcare: from bionic solutions to exoskeletons, to devices aiding ALS patients. He urged for the democratisation of such solutions to bridge the digital divide," Ardee School mentioned in a LinkedIn post.
Before that, he became world's youngest TEDx Speaker when he took to stage at the age of six (6) and talked about Technology and Innovation.
Media reports also state that in 2021, Ranvir created a prototype rocket ship aimed at supporting NASA’s Mars exploration. This earned him recognition from NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory. By age 5, Ranvir had already earned a gold medal as a Super Presenter in the 2022 Global Reading Challenge.
Ranvir Sachdeva talking to Apple CEO
He then went on to meet Apple CEO Tim Cook in a one-on-one session where he impressed Cook so much that the Apple CEO extended a personal invitation to Ranvir to attend the Worldwide Developer Conference 2023 at Apple Headquarters in Cupertino.
Tim Cook posted a picture with Sachdeva on April 20, 2023 when he had visited the capital city for opening of Apple's Saket store. "What an incredible reception, Delhi, thank you! We’re delighted to welcome our customers to our newest store—Apple Saket!" he had tweeted. To this, Ranvir had replied: "Thank you so much,
