Delhi:Delhi woke up to a hazy morning on Friday, with slight fog and mist reducing visibility in several parts of the national capital. The weather remained calm through the morning hours, and no weather warnings were issued by the Indian Meteorological Department

On Thursday, Delhi recorded a maximum temperature of 28 degrees Celsius and a minimum temperature of 11 degrees Celsius. Humidity levels were around 60 percent, while misty conditions were observed in the early hours.

Weather conditions in Delhi are expected to remain largely unchanged over the next few days. Morning mist is likely to continue, while temperatures may gradually rise.

On February 21, the maximum temperature is expected to hover around 28 degrees Celsius, with a minimum of 13 degrees Celsius. From February 22 to February 25, the maximum temperature may touch 30 degrees Celsius, while minimum temperatures are expected to range between 13 and 15 degrees Celsius.

No weather warnings have been issued for the capital during this period.

Delhi’s air quality continued to remain in the poor category on Friday. Anand Vihar recorded an AQI of 274, while R K Puram stood at 253 and Chandni Chowk at 251.

Other areas also reported elevated pollution levels, with Wazirpur at 232, ITO at 191, IGI Airport at 177 and IIT Delhi at 159.

People, especially children, elderly residents and those with breathing problems, have been advised to avoid prolonged outdoor exposure as pollution levels remain high.
