A video showing an Indian content creator confronting a restaurant employee over alleged anti-India remarks has gone viral on social media, drawing widespread attention and sparking debate online.
Instagram influencer Khushi Dubey, known on the platform as @khushicupcake5, shared footage of a heated exchange that reportedly took place during a visit to a restaurant in Italy. The video shows a disagreement between a waiter identified as Hossain and a group of women over a payment-related issue.
As tensions rose, the women accused the waiter of speaking to them disrespectfully and making derogatory comments about India and their nationality. The group immediately objected to the remarks and demanded that he be held accountable for his behaviour.
During the confrontation, one of Khushi's friends attempted to respond to the employee's comments, but the situation continued to escalate. Upset by the alleged remarks targeting their country, the women stood their ground and challenged the waiter over his statements.
The video later shows Khushi and her friends speaking to Hossain in the presence of Italian police officers. The group repeatedly insisted that he acknowledge his comments and issue an apology for the remarks made about India.
She continued pressing him to offer a clear and direct apology, repeatedly urging him to acknowledge his remarks. At one point, she firmly instructed him to say, "SAY, I AM SORRY FOR ABUSING INDIA."
Although the waiter initially appeared unwilling to apologise, Khushi remained persistent and continued urging him to take responsibility for his words. Eventually, he was seen apologising during the interaction.
The clip has since gained significant traction online, with many social media users praising the women for confronting the situation directly.
“Girls! Salute you for making him apologise to India. You are true patriots,” one user commented.
Another wrote, “You handled the situation really well. I don't think I would have stayed that calm.”
