The Riverhead Police Department is asking the public’s help in locating a missing adult who left a Riverhead facility earlier this week.
Felix Alexander, 43, left the Concern for Independent Living facility at 260 W. Main St. in Riverhead on Feb. 17 at about 1:30 p.m. and has not returned, police said in a press release Thursday.
Alexander is described as a Black male with a dark complexion, 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighing 229 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes, police said. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, gray sweatpants and black sneakers.
Alexander has gone missing in the past and has previously been located at New York City shelters and in Central Islip, according to police.
Anyone with information about Alexander’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Riverhead Police Department at 631-727-4500. Police also ask anyone with information about suspicious or criminal activity to call the department’s Crime Hotline at 631-727-3333. All calls will be kept confidential, police said.
