The semi-truck driver whokilledan elderly man in Hendricks County, Indiana, on Wednesday has been identified as Singh Sukhdeep, an illegal alien from India.
The accident happened around noon in Avon, according to Fox 59.
Singh ran a red light and crashed into a Chevrolet pickup truck. The Chevrolet truck then collided with a Chrysler Sebring.
The driver of the Chevrolet, 64-year-old Terry Schulz, died at the scene.
In a heartbreaking development, a witness to the accident who was almost struck by the semi-truck said she got out of her vehicle and prayed over Mr. Schultz as he took his last breath.
Singh was taken into custody by ICE on Wednesday.
On Thursday, Fox News reporter Bill Melugin revealed that Singh was caught and released at the order in 2018 by Trump Admin 1.0 when Singh was a minor.
Singh Sukhdeep received his CDL from the red state of Indiana in May 2025, according to Bill Melugin.
