Donald Trump on Thursday issued a fresh warning to Iran asking its leadership to strike a meaningful deal with the United States, else he warned them that bad things will happen. Trump made this statement as he addressed 'Board of Peace' members, formulated to execute post-war activities in Gaza, including rebuilding, rehabilitation, among other objectives. In a statement, Trump said, "We have to make a meaningful deal with Iran," adding, "Good talks are being had. It’s proven to be, over the years, not easy to make a meaningful deal with Iran. We have to make a meaningful deal, otherwise bad things happen."
The US President in another statement said, "Now is the time for Iran to join us on a path that will complete what we're doing. If they join us, that'll be great. If they don't join us, that'll be great too — but it'll be a very different path. They cannot continue to threaten the stability of the entire region."
The United States and Iran have having negotiations over Tehran's nuclear program where America fears that it is developing a nuclear weapon while Tehran says that it is purely meant for civil use. According to some geopolitical experts, Iran has already sources 80 per cent enriched uranium required for its nuclear program or weapon.
