Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, formerly known as Prince Andrew, was reportedly arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office in relation to the Epstein Files.

Mountbatten-Windsor was arrested at Sandringham estate Feb. 19, on his birthday,according toThe Guardian. The outlet reported that unmarked police cars and plainclothes officers were seen on the estate just after 8:00 a.m.

“Following a thorough assessment, we have now opened an investigation into this allegation of misconduct in public office,” Assistant Chief Constable Oliver Wright said in a statement, according to The Guardian.

It’s unclear where the former royal is being held.

“It is important that we protect the integrity and objectivity of our investigation as we work with our partners to investigate this alleged offence. We understand the significant public interest in this case, and we will provide updates at the appropriate time,” Wright said.

The Thames Valley Police issued a statement saying, “We have today (19/2) arrested a man in his 60s from Norfolk on suspicion of misconduct in public office and are carrying out searches at addresses in Berkshire and Norfolk,” according to The Guardian.

“The man remains in police custody at this time.”
