Former Pakistani Army officer Adil Raja has made a big claim suggesting thatAsim Munir - Chief of Defence Staff (CDF) and Field Marshal- has kept Imran Khan in jail to satisfy the Zionist regime in Israel. Raja suggested that Asim Munir is continuing to keep former Prime Minister in jail based on claims made by a Scottish journalist, Craig Murray. Raja, in a post on X, formerly Twitter, quoted Murray saying that Imran Khan’s "imprisonment is linked to an Israeli agenda for global influence."

Raja also displayed a screenshot of Murray’s post in which he raised alleged suspicions ofMunir’s actionsto satisfy the Israeli regime. Murray’s post reads, "never forget that a major factor in Zionism being able to dominate the world has been the imprisonment of Imran Khan."

Mentioning this, Raja said, "That’s why Asim Munir has kept Imran Khan in jail."

Imran Khan, through his associates and party, the Pakistani Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), had blamed Field Marshal Asim Munir for keeping him in jail. The former Prime Minister earlier claimed that the current regime in Pakistan, which is a puppet of the Army, under Asim Munir, is the one responsible for his sentence.

Imran Khan has been lodged in Rawalpindi’s Adiala jail since 2023 under multiple corruption cases.

Earlier in December, Imran’s party, PTI, issued a statement based on what he told his sister after meeting her in jail. The statement read, "The military establishment has done all they could against me. All that is left for them is to now murder me."

The party alleged the 73-year-old former prime minister was being held in solitary confinement without electricity or sunlight, "questionable food", clean drinking water, medical aid, or basic facilities normally available to inmates.

Khan reportedly told his sister he was being held under conditions similar to those faced by an inmate on death row.

"If anything happens to me, the Army Chief and DG ISI will be responsible. I have the same facilities that an inmate on death row has," the statement quoted him as saying.

He is also quoted as calling Army Chief General Asim Munir "the most tyrannical dictator in history" and "mentally unstable".
