A technical problem in the server of Navitaire caused disruption at airports across the country, including Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, on Wednesday morning. The server went down between 6:45 am and 7:28 am, which affected airline check-in and boarding systems. Because of this software glitch, operations of IndiGo, Akasa Air, Air India Express and SpiceJet were impacted. Passengers at Terminal 3, Indira Gandhi International Airport reported that check-in systems were not working properly. This led to long queues at the airport as staff had to handle passengers manually.
Due to the delay, many travellers complained about slow processing, missed flights, and confusion at counters. Airport operations returned to normal after the server issue was resolved.
At 8:25 am, the system got fully restored. Normal operations currently in place.
