One of Aaron Donald’s former Rams teammates who now plays for a rival wants him to stay retired.
Cooper Kupp, the former Super Bowl MVP who won a championship with Donald four years ago and just won another ring with the Seahawks, said Wednesday on “The Rich Eisen Show” that he told Donald he’s not allowed tomake a comeback.
“I just texted Aaron and said, ‘Don’t even think about it,” Kupp said jokingly. “I just left it at that. We’re good, I’m not worried about it. Because he’s not.”

Kupp and Donald were teammates for seven seasons after Kupp was selected in the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft. The two were impactful players for the Rams for nearly a decade, appearing in two Super Bowls together and winning one during the 2021-2022 season.
When the Rams defeated the Cincinnati Bengals 23-20 in Super Bowl 55, Kupp was crowned Super Bowl MVP after having eight receptions for 92 yards and two touchdowns, while Donald recorded the game-winning sack.
