The following incidents have been reported by the Nassau County Police Department and other law enforcement and emergency service units.
Massapequa: An unidentified female stole an assortment of items from Burlington Coat Factory at 5530 Sunrise Hwy., on May 21. The theft was reported shortly before midnight that day.
•Nassau Police arrested Sharron Lee, 60, of Levittown May 23, charging her. With shoplifting at Uncle Giuseppe’s Marketplace at 37 Hicksville Road.
South Farmingdale: A bottle of water was stolen. From Walgreens at. 918 Main Street May 22. The report was filed at 11:30 a.m.
Joseph Scollo, 33 of West Babylon was arrested and charged May 26, shortly after 1:30 a.m. the arrest was made at Terrace View and Carmans roads.
People named in Crime Watch items as having been arrested and charged with violations or crimes are only suspected of committing those acts of which they are accused. They are all presumed to be innocent of those charges until and unless found guilty in a court of law.
