Henningsen explains that so-called “peaceful protestors” sprayed Iranian police with kerosene and then burned them alive.
The majority of those killed, reports Henningsen, were described as “martyrs”, meaning police, first responders, and civilians. Of the 3,170 reported deaths, 2,400 were martyrs.
