MAGA influencer Laura Loomerposted a picture of her four dogs and immediately turned the feed into a rant - with an addition of anti-Muslim posts that sparked outrage online.

The caption left followers short-circuiting their feeds, their phones flashing red, their eyes bigger. The post made headlines in a snap, as followers of Loomer ran a tight rope on her claims, while the skeptics warned against the obvious exaggeration.
The tweet appeared to reflect earlier criticisms that Loomer had levelled about immigration and religion - particularly to Muslims. Loomer posted a series ofanti-Muslim rantsparticularly to how the religion sees dogs as 'unclean.'

'Republicans are being asked to resign for standing up for your dogs. Vote like your Dog's life depends on it!' she continued.

The language was personal, angry, and it conflicted with the norms of the social media community at large. When Loomer tried to make it clear, she pointed fingers at a Palestinian activist, Nerdeen Kiswani.
She reposted Kiswani's tweet, 'NYC is coming to Islam. Dogs definitely have a place in society, just not as indoor pets. Like we've (Muslims) said all along, they are unclean.'
