Department of Homeland Security Chief Markwayne Mullin got into it with crazy Democrat Rep. Al Green during Wednesday’s hearing.

Mullin returned to Capitol Hill on Wednesday to testify before the House Homeland Security Committee on the DHS’s 2027 budget.

During the hearing, Democrat Rep. Al Green called Mullin a racist.

“A racist, Mr. Secretary…” Al Green said.

“Are you calling me a racist? I’m asking a question,” Mullin said.

“Shut up! Shut up!” Al Green shouted.

“I’m not gonna let anyone call me a racist! You will not—no one will call me a racist. I’m Cherokee, too. My family has been targeted,” Mullin said.

“I will continue to interrupt as long as someone continues calling me a racist,” Mullin added.

Last month Al Greenlostthe Texas House District 18 primary runoff to 37-year-old Christian Menefee.

The 78-year-old Democrat was booted from his seat after more than two decades in Congress.
