Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche schooled Democrat Rep. Rosa DeLauro as she raged over Trump’s settlement with the IRS.
Blanche testified before the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Commerce and other agencies on Tuesday.
During the hearing, Blanche told lawmakers that the Trump Administration scrapped the $1.78 billion weaponization fund.
“We are not moving forward with the weaponization fund. Period,” Blanche said.
Purple-haired Democrat Rep. DeLauro (CT) raged at Blanche over Trump’s settlement with the IRS that lead to the creation of the weaponization fund.
“This administration has engaged in what are perhaps the most brazen acts of flagrant corruption I’ve ever seen,” DeLauro said.
She continued, “When you preside over a deal to take $1.8 billion of taxpayer money to create a slush fund to pay out violent criminals who pleaded guilty to assaulting police officers, you cannot be surprised when people question your impartiality.”
