Protesters in the southern British city of Southampton threw bottles and bins at police while demonstrating over a student’s murder, AFP journalists saw.

The crowd protesting the murder of Henry Nowak, an 18-year-old student, by a Sikh man who was convicted Friday, marched towards the scene of the crime in the city and then attacked police officers blocking a road.
