Onslaught is a new action film coming from extremely popular A24 studios and features UFC ChampionAlex Pereira.
The huge Brazilian takes on the role of ‘The Butcher’ and in screenshots from the trailer looks like a titan on the battlefield. In a similar vein to hisoctagonventures, the film looks brutal aggressive and violent, much of what you expect from a Pereira performance.
Onslaughtis an action thriller based around a unruly squad of genetically enhanced soldiers unleashed into the world. Alongside Alex Pereira, the cast includes Adria Arjona, Reginald VelJohnson and Drew Starkey. The film is set to release in theatres on September 4th.

Many UFC fighters have featured in films over the years and the Brazilian champion will be the latest to feature on the big screens in September. Former stars include the two women whom headlined the MVP Netflix card earlier this month. BothRonda Rousey and Gina Caranohave both appeared in the Fast and Furious franchise. In addition, fellow former champions Georges St-Pierre,Kamaru Usman, Michael Bisping and Randy Couture have all made their acting debuts over the years. Even his opponent for UFC Freedom 250,Ciryl Ganehas dipped his toes into the world of TV and Film.
Of course most notoriouslyConor McGregormade his acting debut back in 2024 in a remake of classic film, Road House alongside screen star Jake Gyllenhaal.
Currently one of the biggest superstars in sport globally this is a huge coup for A24 to have attained Alex Pereira in this movie. Pictures and clips came out in August last year while filming was taking place.

Pereira’s character ‘The Butcher’ appears to be the main antagonist from the recently released trailer that he features in heavily.
