AnAaron Donald comebackmight actually be in the works.

The former Rams superstar admitted to Pat McAfee on Tuesday that after Los Angelestraded for Myles Garretton Monday, he’s now considering coming out of retirement.

While reading off a text message exchange that he had with Donald during “The Pat McAfee Show,” McAfee said the three-time Defensive Player of the Year told him LA’s blockbuster move “for sure got me thinking” about a return.

McAfee then revealed the only thing appearing to stand between Donald and Garrett being teammates in 2026 is if the defensive tackle can find the same passion for the game that he once had.

“Gotta see if that fire can light back up,” McAfee said Donald texted.

Donald retired following the 2023 season, but the door on his football career has never quite felt closed for many NFL fans.

After all, Donald is just 35 years old, and workout videos he posts regularly show he still clearly has enough strength to manhandle offensive linemen.

Donald, however, has never seemed to truly flirt with the idea of re-lacing his cleats — that is, until Garrett joined the Rams fold.
