Imran Khanmade serious allegations of corruption against the current Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman, Mohsin Naqvi, who is also a minister in the Pakistan government. In an old video that went viral on social media,Imran Khanlashed out at Naqvi, saying that he played a significant role in the fall of Imran Khan's party, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf. Khan further added thatNaqvi, in 2008, had returned 35 lakh to the National Accountability Bureau (NAB), in connection with a corruption case.

Recently, Imran Khan's sisters, Uzma Khan and Aleema Khan, claimed that Mohsin Naqvi threatened them, saying that the Asim Munir regime wants to kill Imran Khan in jail.
“Mohsin Naqvi is threatening us; they have tasted blood," Uzma said during the press conference “If anything happens to Imran Khan or to us, mark my words, we will not spare anyone’s future generations either."
During the T20 World Cup 2024, Pakistan recalled retired Imad Wasim and Mohammad Amir for the mega event, both of whom failed to perform, and Pakistan made a group stage exit. After the defeat to India in the T20 World Cup 2026, Shoaib Akhtar lashed out at Naqvi, calling him 'incompetent'. "Now, one guy doesn't even know he's the chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board. "When you give a big job to an incompetent and ignorant person, he will destroy the country. He will bring down any organization. The example is in front of you, you're intelligent enough to understand," Akhtar added.
