-The Chief Minister took immediate cognizance of the Hamirpur tragedy. He directed the administration to dispatch senior officials to the accident site immediately and to expedite relief and rescue operations. He also issued directives to intensify relief and rescue operations in coordination with the SDRF. He instructed officials to ensure that the injured receive proper medical treatment. He directed officials to provide appropriate compensation to the families of the deceased. The Chief Minister instructed officials to establish direct contact with the families of the deceased and to extend every possible assistance to them.
