Klay Thompson was not anAll-Star selectionthis year, but don’t cry too many tears for the Mavericks’ guard over missing the NBA’s big showcase.
The four-time champion used his time away from the hardwood to takehis girlfriend Megan Thee Stallionon a tropical vacation and, based on pictures the “Mamushi” rapperposted over the weekend, the two weren’t exactly sad about missing the Association’s festivities in Inglewood, Calif.
Meg shared several snaps of herself sporting a tiny bikini of which Thompson seemed to be a fan. She alsothrew up some picsthat showed the two appeared to enjoy some yacht time on Valentine’s Day.
When they returned from paradise, Meg revealed Thompson got her a pricey Bentley for her birthday, which she celebrated on Sunday.
“Aw man I was not ready for this birthday trip to be over 🥹,” she wrote in an Instagram caption on Tuesday. “A time was definitely had🏝️🍹🥳 THANK YOU BABY⚓️”
Thompson and the Grammy winner went public with their relationship last summer, and they’ve been just about inseparable since.
The couple has shared glimpses into plenty of their dates, including ones thatfeatured nights out at black-tie affairs, and others that involved fishing.
Just prior to their weekend getaway, Megan Thee Stallion actually helped Thompsoncelebrate his Feb. 8 birthday with a partythat included a private Bone Thugs-N-Harmony concert.
It’ll be back to work soon for Thompson — Dallas comes out of the All-Star break on Friday with a game against the Timberwolves — but there are certainly still a few days left for the lovebirds to enjoy each other’s company before basketball takes priority again.
