Jonathan Pollard, the American who spied onbehalf of Israeland who reportedly recently met in secret with Mike Huckabee, the U.S. ambassador to Israel, said in a podcast for Arutz Sheva that Israel will likely soon have to prepare for a war with Turkey and Egypt — which is why Tel Aviv must defeat Iran, Hezbollah, and Hamas in this round of fighting.

“I'm not so sure that we will have as easy a time with the Turks as we've had with the Iranians,” he said. The interviewer interjected and noted that Turkey is considered to have the strongest army in the Middle East, and Pollard responded:“The storm is coming.”

Pollard said he looks at Iran as a problem that Israel “absolutely has to finish,” along with Gaza and Hezbollah (in Lebanon).

“Why am I fixated on this now? Because we have to be prepared for the next war, which will likely be against Turkey and Egypt.”

RITTER RESPONDS TO TRUMP SAYING IRAN IS NEGOTIATING ON FUMES

The Israelis are no longer trying to hide the fact that they will not stop the land theft in southern Lebanon and Gaza. (Here’s Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahustating todaythat it needs to be a slow process in Gaza.) The New York Timesreportedtoday that Israel carried out airstrikes on Beirut for the first time in months. The report noted that Netanyahu said earlier this week that the IDF was “deepening its operation” inside Lebanon.(MARANDI GAVE AN UPDATE ON THE WAR EARLIER THIS WEEK).

We reported in November when it emerged that Pollard, the American who spied on behalf of Israel, held a secret meeting with Huckabee, prompting swift criticism from Democrats.

Rep. Joaquin Castro, D-Texas,posted on X that Pollardis a convicted traitor who “provided highly sensitive national security information to the Israeli government. He did grave harm to our country. He has never shown a degree of remorse for his crimes. It’s unacceptable that Ambassador Huckabee secretly met with Mr. Pollard, a convicted traitor, at the United States Embassy.”

The New York Times, citing unnamed sources, reported at the time that it is unclear why Huckabee and David Milstein, his senior adviser and Mark Levin’s stepson, and is seen as another pro-Israel hawk, met with the former spy.

Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the Turkish president, has been criticized for what has been seen as his inaction to intervene in the ongoing genocide in Gaza. He has, at times, talked tough, but did nothing.
