TheVillage of Farmingdaleis preparing for its downtown area to be turned into one big street party again this summer as the annualMusic on Mainreturns on July 9.

The village has announced four dates this summer when people from Farmingdale and the surrounding communities will be able to head to Main Street for live music, dancing, vendors, food and drinks. The events are free to attend and will take place on every other Thursday, starting on July 9 and culminating on Aug. 20.

Additionally, live music will be performed at Croxleys Ales House, Tap Room, Whiskey Down Diner, Barnyard, Burgerology, and other places.

Music on Main is organized by theFarmingdale Business Improvement District, which plans events throughout the year in the village’s downtown. Thousands of people have turned out for Music on Main across its four dates in past years.
