Roslyn School District hosted its eighth annual INCubator Pitch Night at Roslyn High School on Monday, May 18. The event marked the culmination of a yearlong process in which high school teams developed business plans, refined their presentation skills and pitched their ideas to the “Roslyn Sharks.”
First place went to Stadium IQ, founded by Jake Brooks, Adam Camisi, Harrison Goldman and Adam Hertz-Shargel and mentored by Lloyd Rosenman. Stadium IQ aims to help stadium attendees “navigate smarter, miss less, enjoy more.”
Second place went to FetchIQ, founded by Leah Abraham, Jake Mongeluzo, Cole Sadofsky and Eva Spiegelman and mentored by Mindy Lampert. FetchIQ is a three-part ecosystem that connects an activity tracker and automated feeder to a mobile app. Using a dog’s health data and daily activity levels, the system adjusts portion sizes to support healthier pets while making feeding more convenient for owners.
Third place was awarded to Track My Treasure, founded by Alexa Mesh, Leigh Mosberg, Lily Seitelman, Taylor Stephens and Ethan Vishnick and mentored by Brooke Weingarten. Track My Treasure is a small, discreet tracker designed specifically for jewelry. The device allows users to monitor items in real time through a mobile app, providing peace of mind and helping protect valuable belongings.
“I am beyond proud of this year’s INCubator groups. Each team has grown so much and pitched like true professionals,” teacher Jennifer DiPietro said. “All of the hard work, collaboration and creativity were on full display, and each team shined tonight.”
