The globally popular series will continue its journey following confirmation that production is moving forward. The news reassures viewers that Emily's story is far from over.
The confirmation was shared on Instagram last month by both Netflix and star Lily Collins, sparking excitement online. While details remain limited, early updates offer a glimpse into what could be next.
The announcement follows a strong performance in Season 5. According toNetflix, the last season set in Italy drew 26.8 million views in just 11 days and reached number one on Netflix in 24 countries.
The season followed Emily's adventures after moving to Rome to lead Agence Grateau's new office while beginning a romance with fashion heir Marcello Muratori.Scenes filmed in Rome and Veniceenchanted audiences, sparking excitement and curiosity. They offered a slower, more romantic contrast to her hectic Parisian life.
The series creator Darren Star hinted at future possibilities during a press conference in December, saying: 'There's a lot of places I'd love to visit. But I think the show organically [follows] the storyline.'
He added: 'The show is Emily in Paris. It's never going to permanently leave its home base. But if I can take the audience on a journey somewhere else, I would love that ... [It's] fun to think about.'
