Newly released Justice Department records reveal books, clothing items and personal products Epstein ordered online between 2014 and 2019.
Court documents released as part of the latest Jeffrey Epstein file disclosures have shed new light on the convicted sex offender's private spending habits, including a series ofAmazon purchases made over several years. The records, made public through Justice Department material tied to Epstein-related investigations, detail items ordered between 2014 and 2019.
The newly revealed purchase history has drawn renewed attention because of the nature of several products listed. Investigators and experts say the combination of certain items offers an unsettling glimpse into Epstein's behaviour and mindset during the final years of his life.
Epstein, a former financier who died in jail in 2019, has remained at the centre of ongoing public scrutiny. The latest release adds another layer to the record of evidence tied to his case.
The Amazon purchase history includes a number ofbooks, some of which have been widely discussedbecause of their disturbing themes. Among the titles listed wasLolitaby Vladimir Nabokov, a novel that centres on the abuse of a young girl. Court material also referenced photographs linked to the Epstein files that contained quotes from the book.
In addition, the records show Epstein orderedJustineby the Marquis de Sade, an 18th-century work known for graphic content. Another book included in the purchase history wasThe Stranger Beside Me, Ann Rule's memoir about serial killer Ted Bundy.
The filings also documented purchases beyond literature. Investigators noted clothing items, including girls' school uniforms shipped to one of Epstein's properties, which experts described as particularly alarming in context.
Trauma psychologist Desiree Nazarian, quoted in reporting tied to the document release, said the mixture of child-coded clothing alongside intimate wellness products is 'clinically alarming'. She explained that these patterns often appear in predatory profiles, reflecting coercion, entitlement and a desire for control.
Nazarian also suggested that certain costume-like purchases listed in the files could point to role-play dynamics linked to dominance. Items such as an FBI costume and other uniform-style clothing were included among the orders detailed in the documents.
While purchase records alone do not establish additional criminal charges, experts say the context surrounding Epstein's history makes these details especially troubling. The disclosures have intensified calls for transparency about the full scope of his activities and networks.
