President Donald Trump is expected to hold a meeting with his full Cabinet on Wednesday at Camp David, White House officials confirmed Tuesday.
The meeting comes amid uncertainly after new U.S. attacks on Iran on Monday, which U.S. officials say didn't violate a cease-fire. Iranian officials say that they were "a gross violation" of said cease-fire and threated retaliation.
Trump said during the weekend that a peace deal has been "largely negotiated," though he walked that back with posts Monday before the attacks. The president said in a later post that any deal "will either be a great and meaningful one, or there will be no deal."
He also said he has made a "mandatory" request that Middle Eastern countries must sign the Abraham Accords to normalize relations with Israel as part of any deal and demanded Iran hand over "nuclear dust" first.
Secretary of State Marco Rubio, meanwhile, said a deal could take "a few more days," The Hill reported.
Trump has rarely visited Camp David, a president retreat in Maryland. This will be his second visit in his second term, CNN reported. The president visited 15 times in his first term and has called the site "very rustic."
The meeting is expected to include Tulsi Gabbard, the director of National Intelligence, who announced her resignation last week. She is expected to leave the position at the end of June.
